Queen Elizabeth I’s bowling green, sweeping lawns and terraced gardens surround the Castle, creating wonderful grounds.

The Castle is open from Easter to October and throughout the summer there are activities for all the family. The Butterfly House is also open from May to September, where you can enjoy the fabulous collection of roses in the magical walled garden.
