Described as ‘the noisiest museum in the world’, the Museum

The National Museum of Scotland, in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, traces Scotlandâ??s story from fascinating fossils to popular culture. Featuring exhibits collected from all over Scotland and beyond, the collections cover life, the universe and everything in it. Connect with Dolly the sheep, design a robot, test drive a Formula One car, power up a generator or blast off into outer space. Some exhibits are millions of years old, others less than a decade. Admission is free. Open daily 10am - 5pm.

This exquisite little gem located in the Cathcart area of Glasgow is Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson’s domestic masterpiece. Conservation and decoration of the House are still underway, so there is always something new to see.
