As seen on TV this multi-award winning Cheshire museum houses the largest collections of engines in Europe - varying in size from desktop to 100 tons! Some on display from the National Collection also engines on loan from museums overseas. Many engines, including steam engines running - check website for details.
Built on the site of the old Anson Colliery, it also has a display of local history items such as photographs, maps, mementoes and keepsakes from the Vernon Estate and Anson Colliery.
