The Kingsfold Christian School is an independent day school for boys and girls from 4-16 years old.
We are located in the market garden area of Hesketh Bank, Lancashire, on the North-West coast of England. Playing fields surround the school buildings and we are secluded from the road, providing safe facilities for games and fieldwork.
Our main focus is to provide an environment where children can make the best of their abilities, whatever they are.

The St. Annes College is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students up to the age of 18. There are three main departments; a Kindergarten for children aged 2 to 4+, an Infant and Junior School for children aged 4+ to 11 and a Grammar School for students aged from 11 to 18+. One of the main features of the College and one of its greatest strengths is the individual attention given to the students by virtue of the small classes. At present, classes in the College contain approximately 16 pupils with much smaller groups at advanced level. In such a small community both staff and pupils come to know each other well. There is a friendly atmosphere and always someone to turn to for advice or encouragement.

Westmorland School was established in may 2000 as a Primary day school for children with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (B.E.S.D.). It is located near the town centre in Chorley, Lancashire, in a picturesque Victorian building, with easy access from the M61 and M6 motorways.

Birkenhead High School is a non-denominational, non-fee paying, independent girls’ 3-19 academy. Birkenhead High School was founded in 1901 and is now a part of the Girls' Day School Trust (GDST), one of the UK's largest, longest established and most successful independent schools' network.

The GDST is a group of 29 independent schools located throughout England and Wales with over 20,000 pupils. Founded in the latter half of the nineteenth century, the School has for many years enjoyed an enviable reputation as the leading boys' school on the Wirral. Since September 2000 the School has been co-educational at Sixth Form level and since September 2008 has been co-educational throughout the School.

Entry to the school is available via the Prep School, by open competitive examination at 11, by Common Entrance at 13, or by interview at Sixth Form level. Entry at other times can be considered upon consultation with the Headmaster.

Carleton House is a Catholic school that welcomes children of all denominations. With small class sizes, we nurture the development of the whole child, academically, spiritually and in the sporting and cultural aspects of their lives. From September 2009 we will also be providing Foundation Stage 1 (pre-school) for children age 3 upwards.

We began in 1981 on a small scale, prompted simply by the urgency to give an option to parents who wanted a non-denominational school to support a Christian upbringing for children, reflecting the ethos of a family who honour Christ.

Most parents want to pass on their values to their children. Teachers who had an active faith in Christ were essential. Local churches working together were the obvious community context for such a venture. What a difference even these things have already made! However, we increasingly realise how much more there is to learn. Applying our faith to education and the workplace is ongoing. As a school community, we continue to learn together.
