St Martin´s, established in 1930, is an independent co-educational preparatory school. Housed in a stunning Edwardian building our traditions of conduct and manners dovetails with our academic excellence. At the rear of the main building the children under four and half years of age are taught in our purpose built Kindergarten which is a modern building full of light and colour. In addition to this there is a further new and spacious building which accommodates the lower and middle infant classes.

The school offers a happy and caring environment where children can flourish. All children are encouraged to aim high and always try their best in order to fulfil their potential.

We emphasise the importance of the pursuit of excellence in those areas in which a child shows talent, whether it be in the classroom, in music, on the sports field or in contributing to a caring and supportive community.

We are an 8-13 boys’ boarding and day preparatory school founded in 1913 and established in its present location in 1933.

Whilst we have grown in recent years we have sought to remain small enough to maintain the highly personalised approach that we consider to be so essential.
