The Kindergarten takes children from the age of 3, with children starting the term after their third birthday once a place is available.

The Junior School is co-educational and was purpose built in 1991. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, providing a safe environment for 7-11 year olds. The children's talents and educational needs are catered for by enthusiastic, supportive and experienced teachers.

Girls joining the Senior School, whether from our own Junior School or from other local schools, are taking their first step towards greater independence. They take more responsibility for managing their time, organising themselves and ensuring that deadlines are met. As they move through the school they become increasingly self-reliant and a greater number of opportunities are offered to them to challenge them both mentally and physically.

The Sixth Form at Derby High School offers an environment with small teaching groups under the guidance of highly experienced staff. The girls know and feel they c

Welcome to the Gateway Christian School. We are a small school set in the idyllic surroundings of Dale Abbey. The school was founded in 1989 by the Parochial Church Council of Stanton-by-Dale with Dale Abbey. The school is closely linked to the church. There is a strong and overt Christian ethos but all are welcome and no-one has been refused a place. The school is funded by payments from parents according to their ability to pay. As the school has small classes, we aim at a maximum class size of 15, then much individual attention can be given and children are encouraged to develop their full potential and grow into the people God intended them to be.

As well as occupying the original school building in Dale Abbey, the school has a playing field a few yards down the road, the use of the Gateway Christian Centre, where lunch is enjoyed and free access to the Church’s own 5 acre wood, which is a wonderful place for nature study etc.

Foremarke Hall is a day and boarding preparatory school of just
over four hundred and fifty pupils, aged from three to thirteen,
set in the fifty-acre grounds of an eighteenth century Palladian
mansion in South Derbyshire. As a school we believe that
the most valuable education is one that is broad and balanced,
enabling children to enjoy their childhood, whilst benefiting
from a wonderful range of opportunities both in and out
of the classroom. We aim to encourage our children to use their
minds well, to understand that with privilege comes responsibility,
to make wise judgments, to be able to discriminate between
good and better, between right and wrong.

Situated in the heart of England, Repton School has been home to a spiritual community for over 800 years and the inspiring buildings of the 12th century Priory remain at the centre of our life together today.

2007 marked the 450th anniversary of the School's foundation, which was celebrated in a full programme of events culminating in a splendid Son et Lumière. Over its 450 years Repton has established a strong tradition of distinguished alumni in public life, sport and the arts including Roald Dahl, Archbishop Michael Ramsey, C B Fry, Graeme Garden and Jeremy Clarkson.

The 21st Century Repton is a fully co-educational school with a strong boarding ethos and is home to 600 pupils. Individuality flourishes within the context of a real community, and every Reptonian is encouraged to discover those areas in which he or she can excel and to prepare for the world of possibilities that lie beyond the Arch.
