At Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls we are committed to a love of learning. We encourage girls to join us with enquiring minds and a thirst for knowledge. The delight of discovery, of opening new windows onto experience, is at the heart of our education. Hard work and fun, creativity and initiative – at Haberdashers’ they go hand in hand. Girls work best where they are happy, and here friendship and help are offered to each girl by all members of the community. Peer support, not peer pressure, is the keynote. Girls support each other in their activities, in their successes as well as their occasional failures; and staff do the same.

Choosing a School can be a great leap of faith. I hope that as you come to know Habs you will find that choice an easy and enjoyable one to make. This is an environment which offers more than our own memories of School: enthusiasm, teamwork and friendship as well as an innate respect for all that is genuinely intellectual. This respect is reflected in outstanding examination results and the achievement of our students' goals in Higher Education.
Your sons will be challenged by an exciting academic curriculum allied to a wealth of sporting, dramatic, musical and cultural activity. Your views will be both sought and valued. Passion for learning, the pre-eminence of the intellect, endeavour, diligence and the pursuit of excellence are qualities we all espouse.

Growth in all ways, the willingness to adapt and embrace change and crucially the development of leadership potential and humanity are goals to which we all aspire. I hope you will sense some of this energy and drive when you come and visit us. Do so

Heath Mount School is a leading independent day and boarding school for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 13.
Founded over 200 years ago, Heath Mount is one of Britain’s oldest preparatory schools. Centred around an historically important Georgian mansion, the school enjoys a beautiful location within the Woodhall Park estate.
Most of our pupils are day pupils, with many choosing to sample occasional boarding nights as they move into the older age ranges.

Howe Green House is a unique educational environment where children come willingly to learn.

We consider the happiness of the children, in these crucial formative years, to be the key factor to both academic and social success. Offering the children a broad based education enables them to develop and extend areas of strengths and interest.

As a school we believe that it is important to value the contributions of all members of our community. We place great value on the partnership between parents and teachers in the education of our young people and this manifests itself in many areas of school life.

Immanuel College - Bushey Heath

Our school is one of the Jewish community’s great success stories. We opened in 1990 with a pupil roll of 38. This September, Immanuel will reach its optimal size with 550 pupils, of whom 120 will be in the Sixth Form.

When I think about the reasons why so many Jewish families choose Immanuel College for their children I put two factors at the top of the list: the strong sense of community and the provision of an education which combines academic excellence and Jewish learning in a unique way.

The school’s size, the way its classes are organised and the correspondence between its values and beliefs and those of the pupils and their families account for the strong sense of community at Immanuel.

Kingshott School - St Ippolyt's

There is an African proverb “it takes a village to raise a child”. Central to this is a belief in the collective responsibility we all share in looking after children.

At Kingshott we realise that modern expectations place schools in a pivotal role. This is a responsibility I, as Headmaster, take very seriously.

It is for this reason that Kingshott believes in an education that not only provides an intellectual environment which stimulates curiosity and promotes achievement, but also one that provides opportunities to develop and nurture each individual child.

When your son joins Lochinver, the adventure that is his education is formed very strongly on a partnership between home and school and I believe passionately that if we get this right your son will thrive with us. We will work closely with you to give your son every possible opportunity to improve, to rise to new challenges and to set achievable targets. Good education will always be based around a combination of traditional teaching methods and modern technology, but at Lochinver we go further than this to provide an all round education that will be exciting, challenging and stimulating. Working on issues such as relationships, drug education and study skills we make sure that every base is covered and every pupil understands his responsibility to the wider school community.

Lochinver House is a vibrant, exciting school. Education is a very exhilarating experience and I look forward to meeting with you, showing you around our school and exploring further how we can work together to give your son

Lockers Park School - Hemel Hempstead

When you first enter our extensive grounds you will see a school that has educated boys to the highest standards for over 130 years, with scholarships and entrance places to the best of UK's senior schools. You will also see a whole host of academic, creative and sporting facilities, which we have constantly expanded and updated - most recently with our new Science and Design Technology centre.

Lockers Park is a school which relishes its small size. One of the reasons I have been so delighted to join Lockers is that it genuinely makes a difference for every boy. At Lockers Park your son will be taught in classes of a maximum size of 16 (with an average of 14), much smaller even than in most independent schools. He will have the chance to take part in a wide range of sports and to play in school matches; the majority of boys represent the school in a team during their school career. Likewise, every boy is encouraged to choose and study a musical instrument - or two!
