Coxswains Cottage is a self catering holiday home in the unique village of Thorpeness near Aldeburgh. The house sleeps 4 and is graet for families. Activities in the village for children include tennis, golf, boating and sailing on the 65 acre Meare (boating lake about 100m from the cottage).The beach and sea are very close by and for those feeling energetic cycles can be hired from the Meare Cafe over the road (they also sell ice creams!)
