Woodleigh is a preparatory boarding and day school for children between the ages of three and thirteen. It was founded in 1929 in Hessle near Hull, by the late Arthur England, grandfather of the present Headmaster. In 1946 it moved to its present location at Langton Hall, south of Malton, in the middle of the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds; a memorable and magnificent setting for any child’s education.
